How to Make Honey Glazed Salmon Skillets
These are the simple ingredients you will need:
- Raw honey
- Coconut aminos (you can also use GF Tamari sauce)
- Lemon or lime juice
- Avocado oil or olive oil
- Salmon filets
- Garlic
- Red pepper flakes (optional for garnish)
To make this easy salmon recipe, follow these steps:
- Sear the salmon: once your skillet is hot, add the oil and cook the salmon until golden brown about 6 minutes on the first side before turning. Add a little more oil, then turn the garlic. Cook another 2-3 minutes before adding the sauce.
- Make the sauce: while sautéing the salmon, whisk in the honey, coconut amines, lemon juice and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour once the salmon is done on the first side.
- Thicken the sauce: after the sauce has been cooked for 2-3 minutes, it should thicken slightly. Remove salmon and serve with sauce!

Honey Glazed Skillet Salmon is an easy recipe that comes together in just 15 minutes! Only a few ingredients like honey, coconut aminos, garlic, lemon juice and salmon are all you need for this one pan dish.

Instructions
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add 2 tablespoons of oil.
Meanwhile, whisk together the sauce in a small bowl: honey, coconut amine, lime or lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
Add salmon to skillet, skin side up. Cook salmon until golden brown, about 6 minutes, then flip.
Add the remaining oil, then the garlic. Sauté for a minute, then pour the sauce into the pan. Cook until the sauce reduces slightly and thickens, about 2-3 minutes more.
Serve hot by spooning the sauce over the salmon. Serve over rice or cauliflower rice. Garnish with lemon wedges.
