Mobile food pantry to be held in Gallion Wednesday

Drive-thru food pantry next week in Galion

GALION — The Galion City Schools, in partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, will hold the Crawford County Mobile Drive-Thru Pantry from 4 to 5:30 pm Wednesday at Galion Middle School.

Second Harvest will distribute free assorted boxes of shelf-stable food, fresh produce, frozen meat, milk and more. Those wishing to participate are asked to preregister online at bit.ly/SH-FB_DEC28. Girl who died at Utah boarding school had a CURE disease ‘ignored by staff’, lawsuit says

A teenager who died at a popular Utah boarding school last year had an “easily treated” infection that was cured with simple antibiotics, his autopsy revealed.

What’s more, the manager at the stay-at-home rehab center denied Taylor Goodridge’s cries for medical attention, her parents’ lawyers claim – citing newly released reports.

In a statement Friday, they said unreleased reports – the latest development in the state’s investigation into the girl’s death – showed the girl vomited several times in the days before her death at Diamond Ranch, a facility for troubled youth.

A killer who shot a student dead twenty years ago must be re-arrested after a retired judge secretly frees him from prison.

Price, 43, was quietly released from a New Mexico prison 16 years early on March 15, after serving just 19 years.

Jeroid Price, 43, was convicted in 2003 of shooting Carl Smalls and sentenced to 35 years in prison in South Carolina.
