A mother was unable to walk due to a brain aneurysm after she was discharged from A&E on paracetamol.

Moji Akinremi, 65, from Newham, has been in hospital for eight weeks, while his family questioned whether his brain damage would have been this great had doctors acted sooner.

She first experienced back pain and headaches in early February which lasted for several weeks until the pain became unbearable.

According to Ms Akinremi’s daughter, 40-year-old Kehinde, the mother was taken to A&E by a friend and waited hours to be seen by a doctor.

Drive-thru food pantry next week in Galion

GALION — The Galion City Schools, in partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, will hold the Crawford County Mobile Drive-Thru Pantry from 4 to 5:30 pm Wednesday at Galion Middle School.

Second Harvest will distribute free assorted boxes of shelf-stable food, fresh produce, frozen meat, milk and more. Those wishing to participate are asked to preregister online at bit.ly/SH-FB_DEC28. The suspect responsible for the recent Alabama mass shooting is no longer a threat to society, police claim – as witness accounts from those who attended Dadeville’s deadly party continue to shed light on what happened.

The still-covert shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Dadeville, and is still being investigated by state police. Shots rang out in a dance studio where local teenager Alexis Dowdell was celebrating her 16th birthday, witnesses said.
