Vivek Ramaswamy says Target has spat on conservatives

Target’s market cap has fallen by more than $8 billion in the past week as investors weigh the impact of the conservative reaction to the retailer’s LGBT collection for Pride Month.

On May 17, before the controversy erupted, Target stock closed at $160.96, giving the retailer a market valuation of around $74.3 billion.

On Wednesday the stock closed at $143.10, down 11.1 percent from the previous week, with a market cap of $66.1 billion, down $8.2 billion from the previous week. The stock fell a further 2 percent in early trading on Thursday and is sitting near a 52-week low.

A Florida man got the nasty surprise of biting into the toilet when he came face to face with an angry iguana.

John Riddle, 58, was about to use the bathroom at his Hollywood home when he noticed it was already occupied by a giant reptile sitting on the toilet.

The scaly intruder looked just as surprised as Riddle when he started hissing angrily at him, turning towards his camera for a threatening photo.

“I walked in my bathroom and found Godzilla in my toilet,” said Riddle.

“He didn’t look happy at all and started splashing and hissing at me.”

Karen Haller, who lives in England, is an expert in applied color psychology and runs her own behavioral design firm.

In a blog post on his website, the expert said that the color combination in the McDonald’s logo is not a coincidence.

Seeing the psychological effect it has on customers, Karen explains: ‘Red triggers arousal, appetite, hunger, attracts attention.
